Ford Transit Services Built Around Your Engine
Our Ford Transit services cover engine work on Transit, Transit Custom and Transit Connect vans, from the 2.0 EcoBlue wet belt to timing chains on older diesel and petrol engines. Tell us your registration and we check the engine code before quoting, so the parts and the job match your van.
On the 2.0 EcoBlue the timing belt and the oil pump belt run inside the engine oil. A worn belt can shed debris that starves the engine of oil, which is why an oil pressure warning needs a proper diagnosis rather than just resetting the light. Ford now sets the timing belt interval on the 2.0 EcoBlue Transit and Transit Custom at 6 years or 100,000 miles, and we check that against the schedule and history for your own van before quoting.
Older Transits with the 2.2, 2.4 or 3.2 TDCi, the Mk6 2.0 TDCi or the 2.3 petrol use a timing chain, and we replace the chain, guides and tensioners. Transit Connect vans have their own page for the 1.5, 1.6 and 1.8 TDCi timing belt and the 1.0 EcoBoost wet belt.
Alongside engine work we carry out servicing, brakes, clutches, suspension and general mechanical repairs, and we diagnose fault codes, limp mode and EGR, DPF and injector faults with Ford compatible equipment. Choose a service below, or call us on 01293 245494 for a free quote.
